Other CSS navigation design goodness I recently ran across:
    Sliding Doors of CSS
Sliding Doors of CSS, Part II

Oh yes, <abbr title="A List Apart">ALA</abbr> is back and the web is a much better place because of it. :)

I'm almost inspired enough to redo my personal site, finish that online portfolio I started back in June, do a new GLUE theme, or some combination of the three.

okay now this is just fucking cool: Fast rollovers, no preload needed (found on the sliding doors 2 article which I've linked to, but haven't finished reading yet.

I've seen a lot of these nifty practices lately due to a relaunch we're working at in the office. In fact, we're using a lot of rollovers on the new site, but we make them without Javascript - just pure CSS. Totally lovely.

    The Matrix Relaunched.

The only problem with it is that sooo many people use I.E., and if it's not compatible, that sucks. *shrugs*

I tend to agree... and I know that saying "IE is a pile of canine poo when it comes to CSS rendering" doesn't help. The end user doesn't want to hear it, neither do the bosses who want to see their web project finished. Still: IE is a pile of canine poo when it comes to CSS rendering.

CSS is kinda like good enough spam protection. As long as it doesn't work 100%, it's UTTER CRAP. :P

Yeah, exactly... on both counts. Poop and utter crap. ;)
