Is it the GLUE area for reporting bugs in G-Blog itself? And another account to create ~sigh~

I keep getting other peoples sidebars come up against my blog entries. I think I've had Istvan, Kay and some random lady I have never heard of before so far :p

Ooops. That should be fixed now. Thanks for the heads-up.

Same goes for the comments pages (comment posted etc.).

The recent entries(friends) item seems to not be showing up for me. The recent entreis shows up but not the recent entries (friends) which I use a lot more

I second that. I no longer see a "recent Friends" link on the front page.

I had to implement some more caching, also I've started to cache whole entries and comment sets for up to 5 minutes. It *should* work fine, but only some real life testing will tell. Sorry that I have to use you guys as guinea pigs. :(

As long as you're not using us a Gophers Gossip I'm sure we'll be okay ;)

Hrmm... just got a little funny behavior.

I commented on FanBoy's blog, which according to the new comments tracker says there is stuff I haven't seen and lists the comment as #5. However, when I go to the site there are only 3 comments. And my new one wasn't there. I did a hard refresh. Nope. I click back to comment tracker, still shows one new comment on the thread.

    Thread in Question

Okay, I now went back and checked (1 min to 1.5 min) and both new comments were there.

I just find it odd that the tracker would know there were new comments, but the page wasn't showing them yet.

I've been having the same problem as Zhan. I noted there was a comment on my blog, wanted to read it, and when I loaded the page there were no comments showing. It took about 7 minutes after I noticed the comment for it to appear.

Hmm, odd. I'll take a look @ it on Tuesday -- we're at my parents' place over the weekend, sorry.

Should work again. If not, tell me please. :)

Okay, different problem now. :) I changed stuff in my control panel, it's now 10 minutes later, the changes still don't show up even when I reload. But when I go back to the control panel to see that yes, I really did make those changes, they are in the control panel. Previously changes were practically instantaneous. Am I just being too impatient?

okay, now it's been about 11 mins and the changes showed up.

Yeah, the user details block is cached now.
