Actually, I really do need to get writing. I just commited myself to having a story to an editor for a chance at an anthology by mid-December.

Hrmm... interesting. At some point I'll want to pick your brain about translations. Like when I have a novel that has been optioned for German. ;-)

Since it was a present/leftover from one of my co-workers, I didn't have much choice. :) So the first book is German (the translation is a bit ...weird at times), the other two are English. Truth to be told, I like the original versions more.

Coolness, love to hear more about this.

I enjoyed the first book, liked the second and died on the third.

I've gotten to hear Stan speak and read a number of times. You might also want to check out "Years of Rice & Salt" as that is a novel that came out this year and is getting hot reviews.
