No. My job is "secure", so to speak. My sanity isn't. My desire to do quality work doesn't comply with our work environment. My outside-the-office life is suffering from me slowly going mad.

I'm sure its not an uncommon thing. It is rare to find someone who is both happy with their job, and circumstances (something for which I am grateful, even if I need to be reminded of it occasionally). The important thing is to stay happy, and remember that a job doesn't have to define you. Given Gossip's previous blogs on the subject, its clear that everything is not all sweetness and light. But I think everyone gets that. Kudos to G for knowing when its time to think about moving on for the sake of your happiness.
