You only get 150 per month? I would have guessed a lot more.

It got less and less after I've closed down PJG. Plus my hoster installed network-wide mail filtering based on blacklists with known spammers on it to reduce the overall spam impact - which lessens my "personal" spam load a lot already.

So THAT's why my spam count suddenly dropped when I switched hosts...

I've had a few false positives with the SA/ProcMail settings you suggested. I've tweaked my threasholds a bit, so a few more spam messages slip through, (maybe 4 or 5 a month) but gosh, it's nice. I've just been reading my mail through the webmail client too. Haven't even bothered configuring my PC to retieve mail yet.

I do wish I could avoid more of the spam I get. Plus I'd like to read funny SpamAssassin reports on the s*** I receive. :)

Is Spam Assassin just linux and mac or is there a windows version? Or am I just not reading it right? My heads killing and it getting late, had a head ache all afternoon. But downloaded the zip file for 2.50 and all looks like linux kind of extensions.

I understood from the website that it was a server side application, hence the seemingly obscure install downloads?

#7 - Kay, there's both an Outlook plugin (labelled "Pro" AFAIK) and the good server-side implementation which is Linux-only if I'm not wrong. The Outlook plugin might be cool and all, but in the end you gotta download the crap first before it gets filtered on your desk, while the server-side version is taking care of it before it even hits the mailbox on your server.

    #8 - Lupus, yes.

Ah right, so me having an NTLWorld (ISP) Email account means I cant impliment it server side. ... Even having the plugin would be nice, I suppose, will go have alook for that later.
