I was disapointed about X-men 1
This movie was just .... awesome! SOOOO much better than the first one. Nightcrawler was, by far, the most intriguing new character. I hope if they continue to make movies, he will be included. Alan Cumming did an awesome job.... and that scene in the White House. OMG!!!!!!!! Amazing!
Oh, and Jean Grey... definitely going Phoenix... loved the "presence" on the water at the end!! Very nice...
There were lots of subtle things in this one which would just fly right over the heads of those who don't know much about X-Men in general. I loved the little hints and references. Like the brief showing of Dr. Hank McCoy on the television, all the small things with Jean / Phoenix - the whole fire in the eyes and being encompassed at the end and the shadow on the water, and then when Mystique was looking through the computer files and Remy Lebeau's name showed up. So cool!!!
The only thing I didn't like in the first one and didn't like even more in the second was the portrayal of Rogue! She's too whiny pussified!!! UGH... very disappointing. She was always my favorite character.. and in the movies, she's just so... vulnerable... It's like they threw Anna Paquin in there as eye candy or something.
In closing, Wolverine rules!!!!!!!!! He really showed his stuff in this one... that raw animal power ..... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.. makes me hot..
:)
yup yup, We feel proud. =P
