Okay so I was a little bit bored this evening...
I'm not entirely happy with how the tube came out, but this is a rough sketch of one of my GLUE ideas:
I think I'll have to dig out my modeling supplies and take a picture or two for reference.

after this whole move thing is over with, i should have some more free time. i'll see what i can come up with :)

Hool, I like the idea of the tube, but how about a more... well... comic-like approach? Less lines, less details, a bit simpler, maybe?
Not sure, tho. I can't draw, so I doubt I'm a big help.

@3: I'm hoping to be able to get a more cartoonish look myself. It'd be nice if I could actually draw straight horizontal lines with my tablet.
@4: As soon as I can get some time to fiddle with it in a vector graphics program. (That means of course doing it at work, on my lunch or something, since I don't own a copy of Illustrator.) My department is moving to the other building starting tomorrow, so I wouldn't expect anything until next week sometime.
I've got a friend who's a much better artist/illustrator than I am, I might ask if he can take a stab at it.
Gossip, Is there any particular color scheme for the logo that you'd like to see?
