Love the new feature, but having the same problem as Effendi
  • Carlo Zottmann · 5 years ago
Yeah, looks like the code is broken there. Ahem. I'll look into it... later.

  • terpsichoros · 5 years ago
Thank you! This is so useful.

About the only thing that might make it more useful would be to combine it with the subscriptions tracker.
  • Zhaneel · 5 years ago
    Oh, picky picky.

    Wonderful utility Gossip.

[Quote] combine it with the subscriptions tracker. [Quote]

Even more yes! That would be Trackers Paradise.

But maybe we shouldn't demand to much of TEH MASTER.

    Praise him! FUEGO! CALIENTE!
  • Lupus · 5 years ago
    FUEGO!
  • BlackSheep · 5 years ago
    Way excellent. I like it.
  • ekoostik · 5 years ago
    TEH COOL
  • Chrisfs · 5 years ago
Dual tracker is neat, since I click on one and then the other anyways. This saves me clicks and puts everyhting on the same screen. Yeah For Gossip !
  • Terson · 5 years ago
Nice. or as my Boston colleagues tell me, I would say "so Nice."
  • Carlo Zottmann · 5 years ago
Wait, someone is actually using the subs tracker??
  • Carlo Zottmann · 5 years ago
UPDATE 2004-03-17: Added the Subscription Tracker to the list and changed the name.
  • jeck · 5 years ago

    #18 - Thank you!!!

#17 - yeah - quite often one of my friends will post something that I can't think of something to say (or prefer not to publically) right off, but I want to see what other people say. I've actually removed a bunch of old posts from mine, and I try to remove them if/when I actually do comment.
  • Justine · 5 years ago
When I noticed the change to "All-in-one" tracker I couldn't help but think "oh, that is what you call full length girdles."
  • Zhaneel · 5 years ago
Woo. Thanks. I use sub tracker too for stuff that I care about but don't comment (like all my hubbie's posts are subbed).

  • dsh · 5 years ago
As everyone *already* said, this is awesome!

Thanks for the contiuning developments. I enjoy using g-blog. :)
  • Lupus · 5 years ago
Definitely good. I use the subs tracker for posts I'm interested in but have nothing worthwhile to say, or for blogs which I've commented but which have dropped off the last 50 comments list but I still want to hear replies to.
  • Zhaneel · 5 years ago
@27 of course, now you no longer have to subscribe to those threads as the All-In-One will keep anything that has been commented on, whether or not you commented on it 50+ posts ago. :-)

#28, subscirbe is still good to follow threads that you haven't posted to.
  • terpsichoros · 5 years ago
re #25 - perhaps we need a "stalker" function? (Maybe for GLUE v2.0?) that would automatically "subscribe" to all posts by a particular person? Or perhaps not.
  • BlackSheep · 5 years ago
    "stalker function?" teeeheeeeeee (rotf-giggling)
  • Justine · 5 years ago
I am so a stalker. But that is why I go back in my friends postings page by several days every day. Oy.
  • Xyleth · 5 years ago
Do we get a page that tells us who's stalking us?
  • dsh · 5 years ago
all those anonymous stalkers would be the issue. if someone has a g-blog ID, they can be watched, but I know some people who just read some people's blogs here but haven't joined. If there is stalking (in an unfriendly way) going on, those people would be the ones I'd suspect first.
  • Zhaneel · 5 years ago
I dunno. My view on G-blog is that I don't put anything up that I would care if anyone and everyone read. Now, I have regretted some things, but I wouldn't need to be let know who is "stalking" me. This is for a couple of reasons:
    1) That's what a friends list is.
    2) If you know someone generates interesting comments (me, Terps, Lexi, off the top of my head) but you don't like to get involved (FanBoy) it gives you a way to do so.
    3) People who don't havve a G-blog ID could do it anyway, and you'd never know.
