Americans are not very strong on Europe and anyway I couldnt identify all the American states. Mind you a news programme should know better - but as it is probably aimed at Americans no one would have even noticed.

    Its quite funny though :)

Have you seen those programs where they ask people, who are on vacation, to point out the country they are at on the map?

When their in Spain the point out Belgium or Luxemburg!!!! IDIOTS! sometimes they cant even point out there own country!!
  • Beryl · 7 years ago
It's not just Europe. I've seen my own state mislabeled in an American news story.
  • Huricos · 7 years ago
yeah but there are alot more states than western Europe countries.

But then again, Spain and Luxemburg are very much the same.... (!)

*failed geography in high school because she didn't study*

I couldn't point out most countries, more than likely... but that doesn't mean I'm stupid. :)

CNN should know better, though. GEES.

Kilts are much warmer than anything else when you're out on a chilly northern battlefield (and they don't make them much chillier than up here). I like warmness down there when I'm butchering the sassenachs.
  • entipy · 7 years ago
    Kilts are sexy
  • Lupus · 7 years ago
Sexy = not so good, when butchering sassenachs. ;)
  • entipy · 7 years ago
Sexy is good for watching, though.
  • Carlo Zottmann · 7 years ago
Besides, you look stupid swinging a Claymore while being butt-nekkid.
  • Lupus · 7 years ago
Not to mention potential problems with flailing while swinging a huge weapon.

Wow. Was there really that much innuendo in that one comment? ;)

    Hijacked.
  • Huricos · 7 years ago
Well... Kilts are probably the reason why they won (they won didn't they? dont know much about it). The brittish were probably LTFAO or were just figuring out if they were wearing undies under them.
  • Lupus · 7 years ago
rofl. No, we lost. Slaughtered many, many times over.

Put it this way - for a time the populations of Scotland and England were fairly close to each other. Now it's about 55m English, 5m Scots.

And it was the English, not the British. Britain is an amalgamation of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and didn't exist until after the English had conquered the two islands.
  • Huricos · 7 years ago
    oohhh k.

Well than thats what you get for going to war in Kilts.
