Fabulous, Carlo! I wish my fellow Americans were as observant as you are. I can't wait to share this post with others!

Thank you for a brilliant post. There is nothing I could possibly add to it. Bullseye.

I will, however, definitely be forwarding it to my friends and family.

As another outsider just north of the border and someone who spend over 10 years in Europe I agree with your comments. Negative advertising seems to work in the US for some unknown reason and the old white haired dude seems to get traction from it. Most Americians I meet I like, and they seem like good people, so how could they vote for more of the same????? If you think Bush was a sad case it will seem like a walk in the park if McCain takes control. I appreciate all he did for his country, but he is still living in a state of war with an enemy around every corner and no concept of thinking beyond his gut reaction. Unfortunately he has a hang-up on winning wars that serve no purpose and potentially starting new ones just to prove he can win??? In short he has no solutions other than at best following Bush policies and building a bigger army for what purpose? If McCain wins we should all consider building an extra room deep underground of our house. Bush was sad McCain is scary.
